Man Mahal Observatory

Varanasi has a specialised museum called the Virtual Experiential Museum. It is housed in the 16th-century building Man Mahal. The building's river-facing eastern facade. On February 19, 2019, the Indian Prime Minister opened this museum. It was a center for knowledge before it was transformed into a virtual museum.The museum uses digital technology to present various facets of the city's culture. As the eye walks from one area to another, the atmosphere of a street flows smoothly. The mythology and history of the Ganga are explored through a laser light show, and visitors can take participate in simulated rituals like tossing diyas or ringing bells in the water.

Kashi Gallery

Shri Kashi Vishwanath is the most popular temple of Varanasi which houses one of the twelve jyotirlingas. It is said that mere glimpse of the Jyotirlinga is believed to be a soul purifying experience. The temple was demolished and re-built several times between 1194 and 1777. In 1777 Ahilya Bai Holkar, the queen of Indore built the present structure of the temple. The Kashi Vishwanath Corridor project connects the iconic Kashi Vishwanath temple and the ghats.One of the legends associated with the Temple is that Lord Brahma performed the ‘Dashashwamedh Yajna’ (ten horse sacrifice) at the Dashashwamedh Ghat (The Ghat close to which the famous Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple is located).

Bharat Kala Bhawan

The Banaras Hindu University campus is where Bharat Kala Bhawan is located. It has earned the designation of university museum of national importance and is regarded as the best university museum in India. The museum was established in 1920 and currently has more than 100,000 artifacts in its collection.Archaeological artefacts, paintings, textiles, costumes, ornamental art, personal collections, Indian philately, literary works, and archival items are all included in the collection. The majority of the collections are historically significant, artistically stunning, and one-of-a-kind.

The first restaurant on wheels of NER on Banaras station premises will provide best of food and beverages to local residents and railway passengers, this restaurant will also provide free Wi-Fi and information on video panels about places worth visiting. An abandoned coach and railway track were made available by the railways along with a spot on the Banaras station premises.
